What is Google Search Console
Search console is one of the basic important tool provided by Google. Which can used to check, maintain, monitor our website's activities in Google. In the past, Search console was called as Google Webmaster Tool. Search console also helps to check whether webpage's title is too long or too short and also useful to check if there is any broken link occurs.
How To Use Search Console
After Publishing our Blog/ Website, copy the url and search for 'Search Console Tool' in the Google search box and open Search Console. After Search Console launches, paste the copied url of the Blog/ Website in the url prefix area. and click continue and then go to property.
Then in the url inspection area, paste Blog's url and click submit.
If Search Console shows a message which the 'URL is not on Google', Click on 'TEST LIVE URL' button on the right top area, and also click on 'REQUEST INDEXING'.
Types Of Verification Methods In Search Console
There are 5 types of verification methods.
1) Download an HTML file provided by Google and upload to the root folder of our website.
2) Copy an HTML meta tag and paste in the header section of the blog or in the main index page of the website.
3) Verification through Google Analytics.
4) Google Tag Manager verification.
5) Verification through domain provider. Known as DNS (Domain Name Server).
